About Dina
Dina Hansen, FPC, CHC, NHD
“When we are true to ourselves, all that is toxic and burdensome simply falls away”
Dina is a caring, energetic woman who uplifts and empowers women to live a life filled with pleasure & true nourishment in ALL areas of their lives.
She gently reminds you that showing yourself kindness & compassion is the most effective place to begin any health program to get the best long lasting results... and that what you say to yourself can either be the more healing than any medicine, or more toxic than any poison. The choice is always up to you.
You’ll move beyond the latest food trends & “expert” advice, beyond your specific conscious goals and beyond where you are right now to discover the truest source of your motivation and re-establish a trust in the one source of power that has never failed you... your inner wisdom.
She realizes you’re a smart woman and you already KNOW what to do.
You may just need a little guidance putting the pieces of the puzzle together. After all, we all need a guide or mentor to lead us to our destination more easily sometimes. It beats the heck out of struggling for years doesn’t it?
She relates to the women she works with because she was personally able to over come her own personal health challenges. She discovered the source of power that we all tend to ignore. Once she was able to help herself she saw many other women suffer similar pains so she decided the best way she can help others the way she helped herself, was to go back to school and become board certified as a doctor of natural health, certified as a holistic health counselor and food psychology coach. She went on to continue her studies and became certified in holistic life coaching, stress management consulting and is presently obtaining certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (which provides with the tools to work with your unconscious and conscious mind to change behaviors that are no longer working for you).
Since then she has been empowering women across the country, helping them awaken to their nourishing power within, putting an end to their mindless emotional eating, stress eating, low self confidence and feelings of not measuring up…
When was the last time YOU felt EMPOWERED?

“Working with Dr. Dina has been a wonderful experience for me…with her knowledge, intuition, and great resources she’s guiding me on a self-empowering journey toward better overall health. She doesn’t simply tell you what you should or shouldn’t eat; she delves into the psychology of food and helps you learn to make the choices that are most nourishing for you on many different levels. This is truly an effective and sustainable approach to health and weight loss, something that will last a lifetime!” Sarah G, FL
“Dear Dina: Thank you very much for all of your help. When I looked you up I was at a stage in my life where I had just gotten out of a long term relationship, I hated my job that was forced on me due to a layoff less than a year prior, due to my hours at work
my kids were in daycare longer then they saw me in a given week and I simply didn’t know where my place in life was. Instead of focusing my energies on why all of these things were happening to me, you helped me redirect my efforts to focus on taking control of my own life and letting the things I can’t control not have an effect on me or my family. You have taught me how “you are what you eat.” And while I never really believe in that, I have already noticed changes in my families behavior with the small changes we have made in our food choices. My youngest son is more focused, my oldest is less argumentative and I myself feel I have a little more patience.
You gave me the strength to stand up to the people who consistently put me down in life and I have built back up the confidence that I lost several years ago. When someone asked me “Are you happier now,” I answered back “Yes, while the past year has dealt me a ton of lemons, I truly feel I am in a good place and yes, I am happy. Thanks again for everything. I look forward to your future classes and continuing to grow as an individual and as a parent.” Sincerely,Jennifer Fessler, NJ
“I have been working with Dina as part of a group for a couple of months. I have always had issues with my weight and emotional eating, as well as binge eating. The main thing I learned from Dina was to listen to my body rather than my head when looking for something to eat. Because I’ve been listening to my body, I’ve discovered that I don’t feel very good when I eat wheat, dairy or refined sugars. So for the past few weeks, I’ve completely eliminated wheat and dairy from my diet, as well as most processed foods and refined sugars. In addition to feeling empowered, knowing I’m eating much healthier than I had in the past, I also feel so much better physically. While I am saddened that our group coaching is almost over, I plan to work with Dina one-on-one afterwards to get more personal attention. Thanks Dina.” -Shelley,NJ
“Looking back on the process, it is quite clear to me now that I was just afraid to confront my concerns and admit I had health issues. Since starting this program I have noticed I’ve been having an easier time taking ownership of my health needs and concerns, and have been able to focus much more energy on my overall well-being. As the saying goes, “I see a light at the end of the tunnel” — I see things only going in a positive direction, plus I am more aware of the foods I am eating and have also been experiencing weight loss [a personal goal]. I definitely appreciate the fact that I don’t feel discouraged by a ‘fear of falling off track’ because the program ultimately let’s you find a ‘healthy way of life’ that works for you and is feasible; it’s about creating a healthy and happy life for yourself and emphasizes the need to go at your own pace, because no change can happen unless you – yourself – are ready to make the change. I honestly believe everyone can benefit from some form of Food Empowerment Coaching.”-Laudan B, (NYC)
